My name is Mohammad Abdulfatah, but I go by the alias ShaderOp on most of the sites and forums that I visit. Since mohammad.com was already taken and would have required me selling a kidney to buy it (and I’m rather attached to both of my kidneys, both physically and emotionally), and since I myself have trouble spelling my full name in English on some days, which ruled out mohammadabdulfatah.com, I thought that Shaderop.com was a good compromise.

About My Work
I’m the resident software developer at the organization mentioned above, where I build and maintain their public-facing website and internal applications. So far I have done enough SharePoint work that my initial love-hate, one-sided relationship with it has turned into, to quote Henry V, “scorn and defiance, sleight regard [and] contempt.” But I do enough work using plain ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and Silverlight to keep me from completely succumbing to SharePoint Stress Reaction (Also known as CAML Shock and Web Parts Fatigue).
By the virtue of some innate and mostly unexercised artistic talent, I sometimes get to play web designer. And I like to believe that I do manage to put together a decent looking website every once in a while.
